I hope everyone has a great New Years. 2011 has been wonderful to me. We got engaged. I found some direction in my life. My family has expanded to include lots more wonderful people in it. I got to take Joel to Tanzania which was amazing. Those are just a few of my highlights. I can’t wait for 2012 and everything it’s going to bring.

So full after our family Christmas eve BBQ don’t know how I’m going to eat anything tomorrow! I made the best chocolate trifle thing tonight. So good. Long day of cooking tomorrow.

Tomorrow- baking mince pies at my mothers house and some other pre Christmas day prep then going to a friends house for a little shindig that night.
Christmas Eve- Papous get’s to Brisbane, Christmas eve bbq at my brother house and probably more pre cooking for Christmas.
Christmas Day- Wake up, go to my parents house for presents, start cooking, come home, get changed, Bella gets dropped...
I got my wedding dress! It’s so amazing! So in love with it. All I want to do is show Joel, it’s killing me that he can’t see it till the day we get married hehe. I’ll post a photo of it on the wedding blog in a couple of days (because he doesn’t follow that hehe) as well as some of the ones I tried on but didn’t buy just because I can :)
I’m going to try on wedding dresses this morning. So excited!

Awkward facebook moments yesterday...
The top two “people you might know” suggested to me were both friends of friends that recently passed away.
Just scrolling through my news feed and Joel noticing that one of my friends new girlfriends is someone he used to bang, (and had no idea she was bi/lesbian)
Thanks facebook for always throwing some awkward into our lives haha.
It’s strange, almost everyone I know considers 2011 to be one of the worst years they’ve ever had and even though there have been a few minor ups and downs I would say it’s probably been the best year of my life.
